and the cupcakes that went along with it.

Luke is a mover and a shaker who never ever sits still. He is always on the go and usually getting into something he shouldn't be getting into. We finally gave up and trying to stop him from going through the kitchen cupboards and put Luke friendly items only in draws and cupboards within his reach. I have now idea why we have spoiled him rotten with so many toys when all he wants to play with are pots and pans.
As you can see, this is and every day event for the boy.
Movin' Out
Well, sorry about not posting for awhile now. Things have been a bit busy around the Boyer home. Cameron has been working at Sofa Mart and I have been working at Kneaders. About two months ago they made me Head Pastry Chef which has been fun but hard to do and take care of Luke as well. Cam and I just had a great opportunity to move in with his Grandma and help her out. We will be getting paid for this so.... I have put in my two weeks at Kneaders so that I can help her out. I am so excited to be home with my boy and hang out and play! We will be moving next week. I know that my sister (we are currently living in their basement) will miss Luke terribly but we are not moving far, just to Pleasant Grove. We are excited for a change and I am excited that Luke will now have his own room and a separate playroom! I will try and find some recent pictures of the fam and post them.

Christmas Morning
We were so blessed this Christmas! We had a wonderful time and got lots of fun stuff!
Cameron got a lovely tool set. He bought it himself and wrapped it as well. I didn't know what it was until he opened it so I guess it was a suprise for one of us.

Luke actually did a wonderful job of unwrapping his gifts and believe me, he had a lot to open Christmas morning! Here he is unwrapping some Christmas books Grandma and Grandpa Hudson got for him.

He never really ripped into anything. He was very careful but lets be honest, he could care less about what was inside, he really just liked all the paper and boxes.
As you can see, Luke likes to put everything in his mouth and Christmas morning he was looking to add some extra fiber to his diet.

Breckann and Martin and the kids gave this ball popper to him. He is scared to death of it. Basically the balls go down through a tube and then are blown up in the air before they go down the ramps and tubes again. It makes a noise similar to a small vacuum and he is not too fond of it right now, but we are working on it.

I leaned in to help him open it, and also to prevent paper consumption.

Here he is still opening the same present, the morning took us forever. A lot of presents to open.

It was so exicting to see his reaction to each toy. He had a lot of fun and so did Cameron and I.
Luke really enjoyed Camerons water bottle that he got. I guess he thought it was his.

All toys must go through a taste test. This one passed. Notice the snowflake decals we put on his helmet.
Cameron got a handy little survivor book to take with him on all his camping excursions. Hopefully it will come in handy but not too handy.

Overall, best Christmas ever!!!!! We had a great day together hanging out and also got a chance to go over to Camerons parents for a little Christmas turkey and Ben Hur. We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!!
Meeting Mr. Santa Claus!
This was quite the traumatic experience but I knew that it would be with his reactions to Santa dolls and figurines as I put up the decorations for Christmas at our house. I love the Santa at University Mall because he is not wearing the traditional Santa outfit of red and white. He looks as if he paused to take a picture while busy at his toy workshop. I also like that he has a real beard. He's even curled ringlets into his hair! It was a lot of fun even though Luke was a little upset. I hope that next year will go better but with watching some of the other little ones before us getting their pictures taken I don't think that it will be any better
Attempting Christmas Card Photos
If you look closely you can see scratches on his head from the christmas tree. He is not used to having his helmet off.
We had the hardest time getting him to look at the camera. Needless to say we only used one of these pictures for our Christmas card.
