Our poor little Luke has been diagnosed with placiocephaly. Basically his head is a little mishapen and therefore requires a helmet. Surprisingly this is not an uncommon thing. I have been stopped numerous times while out and about and people share stories of their neices or nephews having one, their neighbors kid, and many times their own.
Here is the beginning of the casting process which did not go so well.
They covered his head with a cap and then put plaster over it much like they used to do casts for broken limbs.

Holy Cow!!! We can't believe how big he is already! He's a cutie alright. Hopefully we can get up there and see you guys before he's not a baby anymore! We miss you, Rob, Jess, and Isaac
